Animal Medical Testing
Animal testing is necessary in the medical field, but only in certain situations. This is
because of our need for new medicine. The current flow of medical
technology in the past two hundred years has been remarkable, since
there are now stronger maladies than ever. On the other hand, animals
should only be used in cases of scientific desperation. Although more
expensive, humans could probably serve for all but the most questionable
experiments. In general, human medicine should be tested on humans as
long as it is within the bounds of safety.
Hello.
Hi I'm Tyler, a Psych/Phil major here at MCLA. I love to play music, so if anybody wants to jam, just hit me up. I'm a huge fan of alternative medicines as well. I have been studying consciousness and have decided to focus on meditation for a while- Tim Jay is letting me use his lab to learn how to image brains. While a little overwhelming, I am excited about this semester. I'm aiming to meet new people and broaden my interests, so go ahead and introduce yourself. Contemporary Moral Issues sparked an interest in ethics, so I thought this class would be a good fit. I also love animals!
